POSITION: ABA Clinical Supervisor
LOCATIONS: Spacious clinic in Lomita, or home-based in the areas of South Bay, Long Beach, Lakewood, and surrounding areas. 
AVAILABILITY: Mon-Fri between the hours of 08.30 am-05.00 pm or 10.15 am-06.45 pm
HOURS: Full-Time or Part-Time

JOB DETAILS BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN:

  • Participate in a training program that provides instruction on Applied Behavior Analysis, Verbal Behavior, management of maladaptive behaviors, social skills training, and data collection
  • Implement 1:1 or group, high-quality behavior ABA programs to clients in their homes, and community settings
  • Record data during ABA Intervention Sessions
  • Participate in monthly training
  • Participate in Social Skills Groups, where play & social interaction is the focus
  • Career advancement opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, special education or a related field
  • Preferred:  Full Time, and 1-year of experience working with children/adolescents/adults, experience with (special needs) clients and ABA
  • Self-motivated; responsible; a great communicator
  • Must maintain minimum availability: 12.5 hrs p/w between 3pm and 6.30pm
  • Pass the background check and pre-employment screenings
  • Meet the physical needs of conducting sessions with young clients

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The position will be performed in our clinic (Lomita), the client’s home, or at times in the (after) school or daycare and the community. Regular business hours are between 9 am and 5.00/6.30/7.30 pm.

WE NEED:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field
    BCBA, BCBA candidate. Must be enrolled in BCBA coursework
  • Demonstrated experience in ABA
  • Demonstrated experience providing coaching to parents in antecedent strategies consequence delivery
  • Demonstrated experience managing Behavior Technicians through BST
  • Computer savvy:  Onedrive, Aloha,Motivity
  • Excellent time (self) management and organizational skills
  • Spanish Speaking is helpful, but not mandatory

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Develop Behavior Intervention Plans and Skill Acquisition Programs
  • Supervise & Train (Registered) BTs
  • Prepare and Lead Clinic and Staff Meetings; Participate in weekly Supervision Meetings
  • Conduct assessments
  • Collaborate with schools/day programs, attend IEPs
  • Analyze data & Modify Goals accordingly
  • Update Goals; Write Supervision Notes
  • Write Monthly staff evaluation reports
  • Use BST 
  • Manage Correspondence.
