BCBA

POSITION: Program Supervisor (BCBA) or BCBA candidate
LOCATIONS: South Bay, Torrance to Long Beach vicinity (and possibly in Los Angeles)
AVAILABILITY: At least 2 days: 9am-6pm and 3 afternoons/evenings (between 3pm – 7:30pm)
HOURS: Between 25-40 hours per week

ABA Works is an international organization that provides high quality ABA services to children, and also extensive parent training. We effectively treat children and adults diagnosed with Autism Disorder, Asperger Disorder, developmental delays and other related disorders. At ABA WORKS, we believe that the more we integrate the whole family in the treatment, the more growth we can create within the children. Our energetic agency, services families nationwide, and has an office in Europe. We collaborate with specialists internationally, and create a network of thoroughly trained Direct Interventionists, (BCBA) supervisors, regional directors and assessors.

WE NEED:

  • BCBA or BCBA candidate
  • Demonstrated experience in ABA and Managing Direct Interventionists
  • Demonstrated experience providing coaching to parents in antecedent strategies, consequence delivery, and shaping
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated; Can Work Independently; Detail Oriented
  • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Commitment for at Least 1-2 years
  • Highly motivated; can work independently; detail oriented
  • Have a reliable car;Valid Driver’s license; Proof of car insurance
  • Spanish Speaking is helpful, but not mandatory

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Development of Behavior Intervention Plans and Skill Acquisition Programs
  • Supervision and Training of Direct Interventionists
  • Lead Clinic Meetings; Participating in Supervision Meetings
  • Provide Parent Training and train Direct Interventionists in conducting Parent Training
  • Do assessments (ABLLS, VB-MAPP), writing Assessment Reports
  • Analyze data and Modify Programs accordingly
  • Update Programs in the Virtual Client Binder; Write Supervision Notes
  • Train Direct Interventionists in IOA data and write Monthly reports
  • Conduct Staff Evaluations
  • Provide Behavior Skills Training to Direct Interventionists
  • TrainNew Direct Interventionists
  • Manage Correspondence with Clients, Direct Interventionists, Clinical Director, other
